Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the STS website at stsbiz.com and your engagement with STS repair services and product purchases. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Repair services

• We will provide a written or verbal quote before commencing any repair. Work will not proceed without your authorisation.
• Quoted prices are estimates. Additional charges may apply if further faults are discovered during repair; we will notify you before proceeding.
• Payment is due in full upon collection of your device.
• Devices not collected within 30 days of completion will be treated as abandoned. We reserve the right to recoup storage and repair costs from the device.
• We are not responsible for data loss. You are strongly advised to back up your device before submitting it for service.
• We are not liable for pre-existing faults or damage that is not related to the repair we performed.

2. Product purchases

• All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST.
• We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, cash, and approved bank transfer.
• Title and risk in goods pass to the buyer upon full payment and receipt.
• Condition grades for refurbished devices are described at point of sale. Grades reflect cosmetic condition and are not a guarantee of battery health (battery health is disclosed separately).
• Online orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel an order and issue a full refund if an item becomes unavailable.

3. Consumer guarantees

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

4. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, STS's total liability to you for any loss or damage arising from our services or products is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss including loss of data, income, profit, or business opportunity.

5. Website use

• You must not use the website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the website.
• You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems.
• We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the website at our discretion.

6. Intellectual property

All content on stsbiz.com — including text, images, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to STS Pty Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published at stsbiz.com/terms. Continued use of our services after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
