Google Pixel battery replacement is one of the most worthwhile repairs for an ageing Pixel — restoring all-day battery life to a phone whose screen, cameras (Pixels have excellent cameras), and performance are still perfectly good. Pixel batteries, like all lithium-ion cells, degrade after a couple of years and a few hundred charge cycles, leading to fast drain, early shutdowns, and sometimes swelling.

Swollen Pixel battery: a swollen battery lifts the back panel or makes the phone feel bulged. Replace promptly — don't use wireless charging (heat worsens swelling) or press on the back. Same-day replacement from $79, and we dispose of the swollen battery safely.

Battery vs software drain — honest diagnosis: Pixel fast-drain is sometimes software (a misbehaving app, poor signal forcing high radio power, or an update-related drain Google later patched) rather than a failed battery. We check battery health and usage at the free diagnostic and tell you honestly — if it's software, a battery replacement won't help and we'll say so. If the battery has genuinely degraded (typical after 2+ years), replacement restores the run time.

After replacement: enable Adaptive Battery and check Battery Saver settings to get the most from the new battery, and avoid constantly charging to 100% in hot conditions to slow future degradation.
