Samsung Galaxy camera faults range from a quick software fix (the "Camera Failed" error often clears with a cache clear) to a cracked lens glass or a failed camera module needing replacement. Camera lens glass replacement: the glass covers over the rear cameras crack easily in a drop because the camera bump protrudes and hits first. A cracked lens cover causes blurry photos, light flares, and visible damage in images — but the camera module beneath is often fine. Lens glass replacement from $49, much cheaper than replacing the module. On some Galaxy models the lens glass is part of the rear glass assembly — we confirm at the diagnostic.

Galaxy S Ultra multi-camera systems: the Galaxy S Ultra models (S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra, S24 Ultra) have four rear cameras including a periscope telephoto. Each camera can fail independently. We diagnose which specific camera is faulty (wide, ultra-wide, 3x telephoto, or 10x periscope) and replace the affected module. Ultra camera repair from $89 depending on which camera and model.

OIS / autofocus failure: if the camera won't focus and you hear a rattling sound when shaking the phone, the Optical Image Stabilisation has failed — the OIS magnets have come loose, often after a drop or exposure to strong magnets. Camera module replacement from $69 resolves the rattle and restores autofocus.

Water-damaged camera: moisture inside the camera module causes foggy or spotty photos. After water exposure, the module may need replacement once the phone is dried and assessed. From $69.
