When your TV stops working, most repair shops and all the major chain stores will tell you the same thing: it's not worth fixing, buy a new one. At STS, we disagree. Board-level TV repair is one of our specialities, and we fix televisions that other shops send away or refuse to touch.
The most common TV faults — a dark or dim picture caused by failed backlight strips, a no-picture fault caused by a mainboard component failure, horizontal lines caused by a T-CON board issue, or a TV that won't power on due to a failed power board — are all repairable at the component level. We don't replace the entire board when a single capacitor or IC has failed. We identify the specific fault, replace the specific component, and return your TV working properly.
